I was devastated when i heard about Adé's tragic bike accident. The whole art community was in shock and praying for him. He was in a coma for a couple of days but his injuries were too extensive.
A lot of us struggled accepting this loss and wanted to create something in his memory. Having heard him speak at the LetterWest lettering conference about his love of lettering and how he had started by using flowers at his job, I knew I wanted to do something with lettering with real flowers. Everyone called him Adé, so I thought it would be fitting to use Adieu Adé as my final good bye to him. Rest in Peace Adé, you are missed by so many every day.
